Électroménager BOUZIANE
Instalment contracts, stock, purchases and expenses for a home-appliance shop — one account on every device.

Overview
A complete management application for an appliance shop that sells on instalments. It tracks contracts and every payment, stock and purchases, expenses and postal (CCP) statements, prints contracts and receipts, and exports to Excel and PDF. The same web application ships as an Android app (Capacitor) and a Windows program (Electron), with a shared online database so the owner and staff see the same data everywhere.
Objectives
- Replace a single-PC tool with apps that share one database
- Keep working offline and reconcile safely when the connection returns
- Import the shop's existing backup without losing a single record
Features
- Instalment contracts with payment schedules, late and overdue alerts
- Stock, purchases, expenses and CCP statement tracking
- Manager and employee PINs with different permissions
- Printable contracts and documents, Excel and PDF exports
- Backup and restore, and import of the original application's backup
- Activity log of every change
- Offline work with a queue of pending writes

Highlights
Design
- Arabic-first, dense but scannable tables built for daily counter work
- Colour-coded alerts for payments due today, late and overdue
Engineering
- Revision tokens on every document prevent one device from silently overwriting another
- Firestore security rules restrict each account to its own shop
- 28 automated unit tests plus end-to-end tests on a simulated back end
Studio audit
The most mature project: documented, tested and multi-platform. Only small fixes were needed.
Found
- One test assumed a Unix /tmp folder and failed on Windows
- Two guard tests flag that live Firebase settings are now in the source tree (expected for a deployed copy, but they must never be published)
Fixed
- The test now uses the operating system's temp folder (26 of 28 unit tests pass; the 2 remaining are the configuration guards)
- Built a public demo that uses the simulated back end, so no real configuration or shop data is exposed
Scored out of 10 on functionality, interface, visual consistency, performance, responsiveness, navigation, architecture, accessibility, error handling and professional readiness.
Demonstration
The real application code, connected to a simulated back end that runs in your browser and starts with an invented shop. Sign in with demo@bouziane-demo.dz / demo-2026, manager PIN 4321. Nothing leaves your browser.
